Multiverse

Giuliano da Sangallo is considered as Brunelleschi’s main successor. In his architectures, like in this case (S. Maria delle Carceri in Prato), he underlines Brunelleschi’s proportionalities with the colour of profiles and walls. The space of the “Quattrocento” (with themes peculiar of rationality and measure of the period) is here shown again to define the concept of man as “universi centrum”.

In an elegant relationship of empty and full,
Ancient and elegant architectures
Are the stage of new surprises;
A Multiverse of single bubble universes,
Theories of spaces and dimensions still to discover,
Light perspectives of thought
Can be caught by our intelligence;
Crystal clear spheres play with this
In the incredible challenge of new knowledge,
Heritages of far-off truths.
